“Fitness and Programming Strategies for Fighter Warriors”
 
Participants will learn ideas and training techniques they can use to create their own cross-training program to supplement swordplay. Define training and workout goals, and know one doesn’t have to go to a gym to maintain a great level of fitness!
Explore refreshing alternatives to cumbersome machines by using mixed equipment, bodyweight exercises, and incorporate martial-specific drills to create a fun variety of workouts. Participants will experience firsthand the types of flexible programming for changing fitness levels, intensity, duration, load, timing… the options are endless!
What to bring: Primary (and / or secondary) weapon, a notebook, water, towel… this is not a theory class, there will be a workout component but the workshop is open to all fitness levels and abilities. All are welcome!
