Special Rate at the Victorian Hotel for VISS attendees

We had excellent feedback from instructors and many guests during VISS 2011 who stayed at The Victorian Hotel in downtown Vancouver. It gives us great pleasure to offer a special rate for VISS attendee again in 2013.

The Victorian Hotel was originally built as two separate buildings. The Victorian House was built on Homer Street in 1898 during the Gold Rush and was one of the first guest houses in Vancouver.

In 1908, the second building, Victoria Block was built in only five months for real estate offices as the city grew.

The two buildings—now called The Victorian Hotel—were recently renovated with high ceilings, hardwood floors, intricate mouldings, and beautiful period decor. Two types of rooms are available to accommodate all budgets: hostel-style with shared bathroom facilities, or separate suites with private bathrooms.

The Victorian Hotel is a designated heritage building still located on the corner of Homer and Pender streets and Vancouver’s oldest standing guest house.

If you are attending VISS in February 2013 and plan to stay in downtown, consider The Victorian Hotel, located less than two blocks from Academie Duello. The Special VISS Rate is $99/night CAD (+HST). Please contact The Victorian Hotel directly (call 1-877-681-6369 toll free or email Reservations) and mention VISS 2013 to receive this special rate during the event.
