Devon Boorman is a world renowned martial arts instructor, practitioner, and author with a focus on Italian Armizare, including the use of rapier, sidesword, longsword, grappling, and mounted combat. Over the past 25 years he has won international competitions, taught workshops and seminars throughout the world on both the study and practice of historical techniques and on practical combat implementation, and has been actively involved in translation and interpretation projects of extant texts. Devon has an extensive online presence through his DuelloTV and Path of the Sword channels and is the founder and director of Academie Duello Centre for Swordplay in Vancouver, Canada, the world’s largest centre for the practice of European Martial Arts.
