Timeslot(s): Sunday 1:00 PMWhether you’re a student or an instructor, a class containing participants of various levels of experience and ability can be challenging. Because of the niche nature of Western Martial Arts — and even more so in the niche within the niche that is Bolognese Arts — we very seldom have enough bodies in a sala to create streamlined groups of students who are at similar places in their swordplay journey. In this practical workshop we’ll look at how to:
- deepen your training in classes where the material seems familiar and basic
- narrow down to avoid overwhelm and make concrete gains with content that seems to be beyond your skill level
- for instructors, help integrate students of many levels in a cohesive class where everyone feels welcome and makes progress
