Bahala Na was the battle cry of the late Grandmaster Leo Giron as the 2nd Filipino Infantry Regiment of the US Army engaged Japanese soldiers during WWII. Founded upon his return from the battlefield, the Giron Arnis Escrima system is comprised of 20 styles incorporating sword (bolo), stick, knife and empty hand techniques. These different styles are critical to survival by learning the various ranges and angles of attack and counter. This workshop will provide insight on an effective system used in combat by GM Giron to face the brutal realities of bladed warfare.
Training stick (rattan) or (single hand) training sword, training dagger/knife. A limited amount of training knives will be made available to attendees.
