VISS 2020 is this weekend and we have lots of awesome activities and events across the three days including some special evening events! Firstly, on Friday and Sunday we will be hosting the VISS Martial Arts Share and Open Sparring from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM which will bring together martial artists of all forms and disciplines to share things that they learned that day and to spar and practice with other participants from all over the world.
Secondly, Saturday evening will play host to the VISS Gala! Bring your fanciest garb to Academie Duello in downtown Vancouver and enjoy a night of dancing, good conversation and exhibition bouts by some of the 2020 instructors! Make sure to bring all of your friends to Sword Prom! There will be groups heading by skytrain from the Richmond Oval if you want to tag along with others.
Lastly, we have a special bonus workshop slot this year on Friday night from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM! If you don’t feel like joining in on Open Sparring you can get even more swordy goodness from some of the world’s best instructors. Yes this year you can fill your entire days from 9am till 10pm. Sleep when you get home!
